The illusion of Hetch Hetchy goes beyond the physical illusion captured in this photo, but let me keep it to this one and maybe not destroy the other just yet.
The illusion here is that the reservoir goes back much further...where the shadows on the right end so do those cliffs...at first when I got there I was wondering but then when hiking the rest of the reservoir comes into view. Taken from the Dam at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir...these crystal blue waters provide power and drinking water for areas of San Francisco... |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
